1. When is your next competition?
Ummmmm. . . never. . .
2. What is your favorite event?
I don't have a favorite event. My favorite move was the 'bridge'.
I can still do it, but now my sternum makes a funny cracking sound whenever
bend too far back. . .
3. What is your favorite color?
If I had to have a picture of a color hanging on my wall, I'd choose
International Klein Blue (it sounds fancy, but it's just a really nice
blue). Otherwise, context is everything.
4. Who are your favorite foreign gymnasts?
I like Lavinia Milosovici, too (but I've only seen her once).
I'm also impressed with pretty much every male gymnast on the planet.
5. Who are your favorite US gymnasts?
Ummm. . . I don't know too many US gymnasts, I guess you're my favourite,
but I've never seen you vault, and that's supposed to be your best event,
right? (Actually, I've only seen you that one time on bars).
6. How many hours do you train?
Next question. . .
7. What are your favorite TV shows?
I don't follow many T.V. shows, but News Radio is great. Southpark
is either really great or really bad depending on the show and what kind
of a mood I'm in.
8. What is your favorite movie?
No one can name just one movie :-):
Comedies..Something About Mary, Austin Powers, and The Wedding Singer
(no kidding!)
Classics.. I haven't seen many, but Tootsie and One Flew Over the Cookoo's
Nest were good.
Others....Goodwill Hunting, (I never saw Titanic), The Usual Suspects
was cool, I know there are others, I just can't remember them.
9. Do you attend a regular school?
Yup. (The University of British Columbia).
10. What are your higest scores?
Under the current code of scoring, my highest scores are:
All-Around: 0.01
Rings: 0.00
P Bars: 0.02
H Bar: 0.01
Vault: 0.03
P Horse: 0.02
Floor: 0.04 (Don't ask why I scored so high in floor. .
. I think they liked my choreography)
11. Do you have any pets?
I have one dog, a portugese waterdog named Tewksbury. (Don't
ask. We wanted a dog, my mother wanted to name it after the olympic
swimmer. . . we thought it was an O.K. deal).
12. What are your hobbies?
My hobbies are going to the movies, reading, thinking, and playing
on the computer. (I love ping-pong, but never play).
13. What are your favorite foods?
My mom's chicken soup is probably number one, but I like lots of stuff.
14. What are your favorite songs?
Talk about an impossable question. . .
I like Big Band music when I need to relax or get things done.
I like popular music so long as it's not on constantly.
I don't like country music, but that's 'cause my mom listens to it
all the time. . .
Lots of old music is good, but I don't know the names of any songs.
15. What is your favorite and/or most memorable gymnastics memory?
Most memorable was being rolled backwards on a roller for some reason
or another.
Favorite was the feeling of being rolled backwards on that roller.
16. What are your future goals in gymnastics?
My short term goal is to learn the names of any 6 gymnasts.
My long term goal is to learn the names of 12 gymnasts and 4 skills
before the Olympics.
17. What are your favorite books that you have read?
I'm honestly not sure. I've read a lot of plays, and I like those
(Tom Stoppard is really good) I like philosophy and poetry (Keats
and Shelly, but also others) I love children's books. (Alice's
Adventures in Wonderland, The Little Prince.) If you haven't read
'The Little Prince', you should. It's by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
It's really short, but it's loaded with great stuff.
